There is an internet campaign to vote for a new 7 Wonders of natural world, which is now complete. The same process was used to select the New 7 Wonders of the World. Here we have listed our nominations for the New 7 Wonders of Nature, only one of which made it to the official list!

	Wonder	Description
1.		Yosemite Valley, USA The Yosemite National park would have to be one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on earth.
2.		Semuc Champey, Guatemala The locals call this the eighth wonder of the world. The most beautiful steps of turquoise cascading rock pools, next to a raging river that flows underground through a sort of natural rock bridge. We also hiked for a half hour directly up the side of the hill to a lookout, for a birds eye view of this natural wonder.
3.		Grand Canyon, USA The canyon view is breathtaking and cannot be described fully in words, nor captured adequately on film.
4.		Great Australian Bight, SA, Australia The flat nullabor plain just stops and drops off into the sea along this southern coast of Australia
5.		Bryce Canyon, USA It is an amazingly weird landscape, soft carved rock formed into canyons, valleys, and tall shapely statues.
6.		Halong Bay, Vietnam
7.		Big Sur, California, USA The spectacular Big Sur coast
