Why Go:
- This national park is rich in forests, wildlife and other natural scenery.
Highlights:
- Wineglass Bay: a beautiful isolated beach, requiring a half hour hike up to the lookout, and another half hour to reach the beach. . For the less adventurous, you can take a boat cruise to see the bay from the water.
- other walks - Hazards Beach, Mt Amos
- Wildlife spotting
Eating & Drinking:
- bring along your picnic lunch if you are just doing a short day walk, or some serious dried foods and camping cooking facilities if you are doing a longer overnight walk.
- Make sure you bring lots of water, even though the weather is often wet and cold.
- Also take all rubbish out of the park with you when you leave.
