These notes were made during a trip to South-East Asia. These are just our food experiences and you may have a totally different experience depending on your budget, where you travel and where you eat.
Tibetan Food
All of these soups can come in meat, vegetarian or egg options.
- Moma- never tried these but they are deep fried, or steamed dough balls.
- Thanthuk- a chilli clear broth soup with flat ravioli-like pasta pieces
- Thukpa- a chilli clear broth soup with noodles
- Gyathuk - as above but with spaghetti
