Honduras

Honduras is located in Central America. We visited here in 2005 as part of our round the world trip. We found it an interesting country, and although it was not a highlight for us in the region (that was Guatemala), it was a worthwhile visit. The town of Copan and the ruins nearby were very good, but there are comparable or better places elsewhere in Central America. Gracias was our highlight as it was difficult to get there (a long uncomfortable bus) and not many tourists. It is a pretty low key regional town.
