Camping in Australia kangaroo at Nanga Mill campsite

Lane-Poole Reserve is located about 100km south of Perth. It is a popular campsite for the people of Perth, and during long weekends sites fill up very quickly. There is talk of a booking system for the campsites, but nothing is set up yet.

There are reasonable nightly camping fees payable at the rangers office as you enter the park (we paid $7 per adult in March 2010). There are children rates for kids aged between 5 and 16 years (less than 5 years free).

There are numerous camping areas to chose from, each offering something a little different, and several popular day use areas.
