Notes from August 2001Noodles and moreOn our way to Vietnam, we had a short overnight stay in Singapore. Ample time to sample some of their culinary delights. After we had organised our hotel for the night, we went for a walk around the block. A simple drink purchase of a soda turned into a delightful refreshing drink - grape flavoured. Downtown we found an eating place that looked a little authentic. On our menu was vegetable fried rice, shrimp won ton soup and a fruit smoothie.
