Taking Sunset & Sunrise Photos
[ Back to Photography Index ]
Sunset and sunset would have to be one of the most photographed time of day, and often the photographic result does not live up to 'being there'. We can watch a sunset nearly everyday if we wanted to, the key is to make your photograph different. This image of a Indian villager on his way back home at sunset adds another cultural dimension to the photo.
Also, many basic cameras just don't have the capacity to capture a realistic image in the low light conditions. If there is not enough light, make sure you put the camera on a tripod to avoid a blurry photo. If you are able to, experiment with different exposure levels as pointing the camera directly at the sun can cause under-exposure with many automatic light metering systems.
