Holiday Inn, Batu Ferringhi
We stayed at the Holiday Inn during a visit to Penang in August 2010. We booked online, and found great rates for the first week of August, only $110 a night. The Holiday Inn is ideally located near the beach, and right amongst the bustle of the night markets. If you can get a good deal, it is a worthwhile place to stay. Make sure you book for the beach side wing, as access to all the facilities such as the pool, games room, bar and restaurant is much easier.
