Coles Bay YHA
This YHA cabin is a bit run down with pretty primitive facilities, but located in a beautiful quiet spot. You need to check in and get the keys from the YHA in Coles Bay town. The cabin is located at the ned of a road on the edge of the Freycinet National Park, overlooking a private beach on Coles Bay. Although the cabin is old and run down, it is still very cosy and secluded, with a bonus private beach. You have to get your supplies from the town (about 5 km away). The water is from a tank (which had mosquito larvae in it when we were there - OK if you boil the water first), and it is an outside pit toilet, and cold water only showers. If you have nice sunny weather (which is not common) it is great to sit on the balcony watching the sun go dow. If you are lucky you will have some wildlife come and visit you for food. The hostel is located close to the start of the walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout and beach.
