New Zealand Trip Review
I just came back from one of the most amazing trips of my life with my elder sister and I cannot wait to share my experience with all of you. We went for a trip to New Zealand and this is how it went …
At first, we were planning on booking everything individually like hotel rooms, activities and our transport. This not only consumed a lot of time and energy but was also costing us a lot of money. For a moment we thought of cancelling all the plans, saying that maybe this is not the right time for us to plan a trip to New Zealand.
However, I am not someone who gives up easily. I started searching for New Zealand tour packages online. I saw a lot of exciting packages from different sites but there was one that caught my attention the most. I clicked on Thrillophilia’s website and saw that the packages offered everything from accommodations to transfers, and activities we wanted to try. Also, these packages were under our budget and exactly what we needed.
Before going forward with the package, I read some reviews of New Zealand trip which made me confirm my decision. We booked the package within a day and completed all the formalities. Finally, our plan was on and we were going to New Zealand.
About the trip
Our trip started from Auckland and I cannot express it in words how beautiful this city is. Our driver picked us up from the airport and drove us to our first pre-booked hotel. It was a gorgeous property with really welcoming staff.
Our day 1 was at leisure so we decided to simply explore the beautiful neighbourhood. We headed out in the evening to casually explore the place. We bought Hokey Pokey ice creams, a speciality of New Zealand. We even interacted with a few locals and enjoyed live singing by a really talented street artist.
Day 2 of our itinerary included a complimentary Hobbiton movie set tour in Rotorua. We left from Auckland and reached Rotorua around noon. First, we went to explore the movie set which was a really fun experience. It was a different world altogether where we got to see the iconic Hobbit hole, sheep farm, Green Dragon Inn and home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.
Day 3 included a complete Rotorua city tour. We first visited the beautiful Waimangu Geothermal Valley where we got to see amazing mud pools and steam vents. It was the day I realised that there is nothing in this world that can beat nature’s beauty. We also explored some other places like a 120 years old Redwood Treewalk, Kuirau Park and Paradise Valley Springs.
Next morning we boarded a flight to Queenstown. Upon arrival, we checked-in at our hotel and dropped our luggages in the room. We self-explored the city and visited places like The Remarkables and Shotover River which was one of the most suggested places in the New Zealand trip reviews.
On day 5 we covered some other attractions of Queenstown. We explored some beautiful lakes like Lake Wanaka and Lake Hayes. We also had an amazing farmland experience at Walter Peak High Country Tour.
The next day we went for an excursion to Fiordland National Park. You know what was awaiting us next? The Milford Sound Cruise. We boarded the cruise and passed through some amazing attractions like Stirling Falls and Mitre Peak.
Day 7 was the last day of our trip and on our way to the airport we were discussing how appropriate the reviews of New Zealand tour with Thrillophilia were. Both of us really had a great time and everything went smoothly.
