- Walk along the long jetty - 1841 metres. It is the longest wooden structure in the southern hemishpere. You have to pay a small fee to walk along it.
- visit the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty - it is pretty expensive for what it is, but may be worth it for some people.
- go for a swim, or even try leaping from the jetty.
- visit the Tuart Forest National Park.
- go for a bike ride along the track just behind the beach
- Wonnerup House near the Vasse Estuary Wetlands.
- go fishing from the jetty, or just throw a line in somewhere along the beach
