  1. Walk along the long jetty - 1841 metres. It is the longest wooden structure in the southern hemishpere. You have to pay a small fee to walk along it.
  2. visit the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty - it is pretty expensive for what it is, but may be worth it for some people.
  3. go for a swim, or even try leaping from the jetty.
  4. visit the Tuart Forest National Park.
  5. go for a bike ride along the track just behind the beach
  6. Wonnerup House near the Vasse Estuary Wetlands.
  7. go fishing from the jetty, or just throw a line in somewhere along the beach
  8. take a hike along the Heritage Park and Trail, starting at the Visitor Information Centre.
  9. relax in the shade on the foreshore with a picnic lunch.
  10. explore the region, including the wineries of Margaret River.
