Tin Can Bay is a small coastal fishing village, situated along Tin Can Inlet. The population is just under 2000.
Places to see and things to do
- hand feed the dolphins at the boatramp from 8am-10am every morning
- go fishing in the waterways.
- ride your bike or walk along the path along the bay.
- hire a houseboat and cruise around the Great Sandy Strait.
- follow the foreshore bird walk on the Environmental Walkway, a 4km track with bird information at regular intervals.
- Play a round of golf.
