Airport Guide: Kuala Lumpur
[Back to airport guide]
There are essentially three airports in Kuala Lumpur. The old international airport is Subang Airport (the old Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah International Airport), now used for some domestic flights such as Firefly. Most flights coming and going from KL are from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or if you are flying on one of the cost airlines you may pass through the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). The LCCT is only across the runway from KLIA, but it is 20 km by road.
