Tuesday 30th May 1995
Bloomington, Minnesota
Walking, walking, walking around America's biggest shopping center
(Mall of America) for three hours without backtracking. Finally
found some boots to buy. Finally found a beer to drink. On the 4th
level, a sportsman's bar called America Live! Drove a golf ball
275 yards! Drank a bud which tasted like piss. The only Australian
beers the have is Fosters. Moved across the road to Hooters! Yes
they have hooters. Pretty sexist but I thought I had better experience
it. Much nicer beer here, Killians Red.

The Mall of America also has a rollercoaster inside, which I just
had to go on. They took my photo and tried to sell it to me. I wasn't
scared.
No, my drivers license has not expired. It is just that you Americans
do things differently to the rest of the world, like putting the
date with the month first, not the day of the month. Understand?
Hang on, this bus is getting a bit close to that bike rider. The
cyclists hits back and the driver doesn't like that. At the lights
they confront each other and nearly come to blows. I was ready to
step in, on the cyclists side of course.

Now Is Life - by Nick Slone
Life is continually changing
You have one chance to act in a moment
After a moment has gone it no longer exists
Neither does the future exist
The past created the present
the present determines the future
But it only happens now
Whatever you do in a moment is your life
Life is now - now is life
Your now can either be rich or poor, full or empty.
Whether your now is rich or poor, full or empty is up to you, but
remember it will only happen now.
Now I said, Yes, now
