Criteria for a Good Hostel

This list is our own personal top ten based on what we have seen and experienced in our travels. We stayed in a lot of hostels, and by the end of our year away we came up with this list of what we consider every good hostel should have.

After a long day of sight seeing, it is nice to clean up with a nice hot shower. |

Friendly staff |
Staff to answer your questions, but that don't hassle you to go on their tours |

A quiet time in the night that is enforced |

arriving late at night you don't like to turn on the main light to find your bed, and for reading your guidebook in bed preparing for the next day. |
