Serendip Sanctuary

Victoria, Australia

The Serendip Sanctuary is a 250 hectare bird sanctuary near Geelong and the You-Yangs. Itis 22km north of Geelong, and 60 km from Melbourne. It is sign posted from the Princes Highway.

Things to do and places to see

  • bird watching - see a wide rangle of birds in their natural habitat - Brolgas, Bustard, Magpie Geese, Ducks, Emus
  • take a walk along one of the several loop walking tracks around the lakes
  • have a BBQ (free gas BBQs supplied) or picnic
  • visit the information centre
