Why Go:
- Deloraine is a classified historic town and on the road between Devonport and Launceston.
Highlights:
- walk along the Meander riverbank or have a picnic
- nearby is Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and Ashgrove Cheese Farm
- Deloraine Folk Museum: located in the Great Western Tiers Info Centre on Emu Bay Rd, this is a great introduction to the region.
Eating & Drinking:
- There are a couple obakeries and a supermarket for picnic supplies
