Why Go:

• Deloraine is a classified historic town and on the road between Devonport and Launceston.

Highlights:

• walk along the Meander riverbank or have a picnic
• nearby is Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm and Ashgrove Cheese Farm
• Deloraine Folk Museum: located in the Great Western Tiers Info Centre on Emu Bay Rd, this is a great introduction to the region.

Eating & Drinking:

• There are a couple obakeries and a supermarket for picnic supplies
