Highlights: |
- Colonial buildings: The Grange (the local wealthy doctors house built 1840s), the Foxhunters Return (1834), and St Lukes CHurch (1939).
- Bridges: The old bridge: built in 1823, and marking the establishment of the town itself, it was once part of the original causeway that crossed the Elizabeth River. Red Bridge: convict built to European design, it was completed in 1838 and made from more than 1.5 million bricks. The Black Bridge: made from bluestone.
- A Little Piece of Heaven: a lolly shop and gallery

- The town is located on the banks of the Elizabeth River.
- Campbell Town was founded in 1821 by Governor Macquarie, and the river and town was named after his wife Elizabeth Campbell.
- Properties in this area produce some of the finest Marino wool in the world.
