Eungella

Eungella (pronounced young-g'lah), also known as 'Dalrymple Heights', is 80 km west of Mackay, in the north of Queensland. It is a steep drive up the hill when arriving from the Pioneer Valley.
Places to see and things to do
- visit Eungella National Park at Broken River and see platypus.
- camp at Broken River.
- visit Finch Hatton Gorge and go forest flying
- walk along the many tracks in the area, including Crediton Creek Trail. The Mackay highlands walk also starts here.
- stay at Eungella Holiday Park, with great views down the valley.
- go fishing at Eungella Dam.
- drive to the diggings (4WD only).
