The Tiwi Islands comprises the two islands Melville and Bathurst, located about 80 km north of Darwin. The islands are Aboriginal lands, and you need a permit to visit, except for one day a year when the popular Tiwi Islands AFL grand final is played.

- Go on an organised tour to the islands, either by small plane or by a 2 hr ferry ride
