Katherine Gorge (Nitmilik) National Park including Edith Falls is just outside of the town of Katherine
Places to see and things to do
- take a scenic flight,
- canoe or take a cruise along the gorge
- walk to sections of the gorge. There is a long distance walking track, the Jatbula Trail, which is 66 km long, starting at Katherine Gorge and taking 5 days. SHorter walks include the Baruwei Walk and the Windolf Walk to Pat's Lookout and the Southern Rockhole.
- Also in the park, though by a different entrance, is Edith Falls (Leliyn).
