With some rain this morning, we had a slow start enjoying the recovery day after the long Nullarbor trek. We took a walk along the windy beach to a lookout at the far end, while Olive had her day sleep in the backpack. The sand of Lucky Bay has been tested an awarded the whitest in Australia. The beautiful pure white sand is so fine it seems to hold the water and is almost like snow, being rather challenging to walk on, making it a tiring 6km round trip. We all had an afternoon shower as it is solar heated and we didn’t want to miss out on the hot water like we did yesterday.
